Our School

Welcome to Lady K

Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and read about our school and the wonderful learning that happens here.

Although we have no immediate housing close to school, community is really important to us and we work hard to develop this within the Lady Katherine Leveson Foundation for everyone who chooses to travel to be part of our school family.

We value all of our children for who they are and the talents and interests  they bring with them.  We aim to nurture and challenge them as individuals whilst also delivering a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum to everyone.  We are very fortunate to be located within beautiful countryside and aim to make the most of this through learning outdoors when we can.  We also have strong links with our church and the values and ‘feeling’ which permeate everything that we do are frequently commented upon by visitors and is something that we are very proud about.  Our aim is to prepare our children for their future through challenging them academically; developing their emotional intelligence; stimulating their curiosity and wonder of the world through the curriculum and real-life experiences and most importantly, developing the confidence and integrity to make good choices.

We warmly welcome visitors.  If you are interested in sending your child to Lady Katherine Leveson CE Primary School or would like to find out more about us, please contact our office and arrange a visit.  We look forward to meeting you.

Our  Mission Statement

‘Love and Kindness: Learning for Life’

We provide a caring, safe, happy and stimulating environment, in which every child matters and is nurtured; unlocking their full potential, building their self-esteem and encouraging a love of life-long learning, all within a unique, Christian heritage and community.

Our  Aims

Provide a safe, caring and challenging learning environment that meets every child’s individual needs and helps everyone to have a fun learning journey

Show respect for others, encouraging Pupils, Parents, Staff and Governors to work together and share our love and kindness with everyone

Encourage independence and personal responsibility in learning, ensuring that everyone is healthy and safe

Find, recognise and celebrate the gift in every child

Improve our surroundings and environment, moving towards sustainability and green habits.

Our Values

We believe in Christian values and encouraging a respect for diversity

We value our environment, and want to contribute to it, rather than take from it

We value all the people who work together in our school community, including those from the Court and the Church

We believe that children have a right to feel safe, loved and cared for and that compassion and empathy should be evident in our school

We believe in the right of the individual to be treated as such; to feel accepted and understood and recognised
